Setcoin's model computes capital cost per watt delivered as mass per kilowatt times launch price times the transfer factor, divided by 1,000, plus hardware and rectenna costs per watt. It converts capital into an annual charge using the capital recovery factor for the chosen cost of capital and life, adds operations as a share of capital, and divides by annual output per watt (8,760 hours times the capacity factor).
