From every project to the few a lender will read.
Each step is one more gate evidenced on the public record. Your diagnostic tells you which step your project sits on.
Three words get used interchangeably.
Each one is unlocked by different evidence.
"Shovel-ready", "bankable" and "FID-ready" mean different things to different people. We fix the definitions, score every project against them the same way, and tell you exactly which one you've reached — and which gate is holding you at it.
Shovel-ready
A consented site with a firm connection offer, a priced construction contract, and a site that can be handed to a contractor.
Bankable
Shovel-ready plus a creditworthy offtake, a defensible valuation and a borrower with a balance sheet a lender can underwrite.
FID-ready
Bankable plus a full capital stack committed, contracts signed and a board decision to spend.
Try it: tick what your project can evidence
Each gate is worth fixed points on the Bankability Index. A deck's claim doesn't count; a document or a public register does.
Concept
Start with permits or a grid offer.
The same three gaps,
on almost every project.
From the pre-FID pipeline in your peer sectors on the Atlas: the evidence lags the asset by months, sometimes years.
No evidenced offtake buyer
Of 16,089 pre-construction projects we track across renewables, data centres, BESS, CCS, semiconductor and fuels, 15,579 carry no named, evidenced offtaker in the public record — whether or not one exists privately.
Atlas · pre-FID pipeline, developer sectorsNo signed interconnection agreement
15,038 of the same 16,089 projects show no executed grid interconnection agreement on file. Silence is not a clean result — it usually means the document exists and simply isn't evidenced yet.
Atlas · pre-FID pipeline, developer sectorsBelow 70 on the Bankability Index today
15,538 of 16,089 tracked pre-construction projects in your peer sectors sit below the shovel-ready line on current public evidence — the same index that refreshes every time your project's state changes.
Bankability Index · pre-FID pipelineNone of this means the projects are bad. A file that discloses the evidence against itself is not concealment — it's usually just a developer who hasn't yet had to produce a document to anyone who'd check it. The gap is what gets built between the asset and the case for it — and it's the single most repeatable thing our engines close, because the same items recur on almost every file.

Once a gate clears, we run your project against the partnership map — investors and lenders who've told us in writing what they will look at, and when.

stated criteria, not our impression of them.
We run your project against capital partners who have stated their criteria in writing, and introduce it only when the gate each one needs is evidenced.
No introduction is made before the evidence a buyer will ask for exists. Presenting a project before its gate is evidenced doesn't produce a "no" — it produces "no, and we'll remember." The cost of a premature approach isn't the deal; it's the relationship, for every project after this one.
Meet the capital that funds projects at your stage.
The goal is not a score — it is a financed, built project. The Setcoin Capital Map profiles 183 capital groups — equity funds, pensions, sovereign investors, development banks and project lenders — by the sectors, regions and stages they fund, their usual ticket and how they structure deals. Your Bankability Index shows which of them fit your project today, and which open up once your next gate is evidenced. Introductions happen only when both sides are ready.

Profiles are anonymised. Sizes are bands and deployment patterns come from public fund announcements. Setcoin makes the project fundable. Introductions are sequenced to the gate each group actually opens at.
Match my projectEight engines, triggered by your gate state — not by a person remembering to commission them.
When land control completes, the consent engine starts assembling your application. When a grid offer arrives, your model reprices. Every gap identified in your diagnostic maps to one of these.

Presentation and introductions
Consents critical path, corrected investor documentation, and — on your written instruction only, once Phase 1 has produced an answer — sequenced introductions from the partnership map.
$110,000 across all three phases — typically around 88% less than the equivalent traditional advisory engagement for the same scope. Fixed per phase, no hourly rates, and no charge for a phase you don't proceed with. A Project Watch retainer ($4,000/month) keeps your gate pack current after delivery, so the score moves with the market instead of going stale between the pitch and the room.

Developers & sponsors
Questions developers ask first
What is the Bankability Index?
It is one 0–100 score of how ready a project is for finance, read from the evidence a lender asks for: permits and consent, grid connection, offtake, EPC and funding. Every point cites a public record, and the score shows which gate is holding the project back.
How much does it cost to start?
The Bankability diagnostic is free. Paid engines such as a Verify check on a counterparty start at $2,500, and the full developer edition starts at From $60k a year.
How does Setcoin find capital for my project?
The Capital Map holds 183+ capital groups — equity, pension and sovereign investors, banks, development lenders and equipment financiers — each profiled by the stages, sectors, regions and tickets it funds. The stack builder sizes your equity, mezzanine and debt and shows which groups fit each layer.
Can leasing the equipment improve my returns?
Yes, when the lease rate is at least about 1.5 points below your cost of equity and the term matches the equipment life (15 years or more). Then it cuts the equity needed up front and lifts the equity return; short or expensive leases lower it. The Capital Map lease calculator shows both cases.
Is my project data kept confidential?
Yes. Your project file and due-diligence work sit in a private workspace behind sign-in. Nothing you submit is published on the public Atlas, and capital partners see a project only once its evidence for their entry gate exists.
