Setcoin Equipment Map

What the world’s pipeline will buy — and where supply will run short.

Every pre-FID project on the Atlas, translated into the equipment it will tender: by category, region and lead time, set against what suppliers can actually deliver.

03 · Joint tender pools

Same kit, same region, different sectors

Projects that never meet in one queue still buy the same transformers, switchgear and cable. Grouped, they can tender together — better slots, better prices.

Demand is modeled: filed capex where a record carries one, otherwise capacity × a sector rate, split by fixed sector shares per equipment category. Lead times are market ranges, not supplier quotes.

Equipment Map

About the Equipment Map

What is the Setcoin Equipment Map?

A view of what the world's infrastructure pipeline will buy: modelled equipment demand across 15,427 pre-FID projects, by category, region and lead time, with the supply risk for each category and the vendors that can deliver.

How is demand modelled?

Each sector's capex splits into known equipment shares. Those shares are applied to every pre-FID project with a filed or modelled capex, then summed by category and region. It is a model of demand, not a list of orders.

What is a joint tender pool?

A group of projects in the same region that need the same equipment around the same time, often across different sectors. Buying together can secure manufacturing slots and better terms when lead times are long.

Which equipment is hardest to get?

Categories flagged Critical have the longest lead times relative to demand — Power transformers, Cable & overhead line, MV switchgear, MV/HV switchgear. Projects that need them should reserve slots before FID.
